Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy

You may well have heard of Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Hypnotherapy. Both of these therapies are highly effective in their own way. However Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (an evidence-based therapy) is a powerful combination of both and is proven to be more long-lasting and effective than either individual approach.


In cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, you'll experience deep calm and relaxation. In this relaxed state you'll be able to accept the deep and lasting changes that you desire. Whether the issues are stress, anxiety, depression, unhelpful habits or phobias, confidence or something else altogether, the benefits created will give you more control and personal empowerment over your life.


I hold a diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy with hypnotherapy, and have tutored students at the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

What you can expect from Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy

In a calm, comfortable environment, I'll help you to recognise your automatic negative thoughts and feelings. It's similar to restoring an overgrown garden by tracing deep roots, digging out the weeds and letting the good stuff flourish.


Using CBT, we'll restructure your negative core beliefs and self-talk, replacing them with positive cognitions and strengthened further by hypnotherapy. You'll be deeply relaxed and fully conscious at all times throughout the hypnosis and still have the freewill to refuse any suggestions that you may be uncomfortable with.
