Welcome to Personal Peace Therapy

My name is Sheena King and I am a counsellor and healer. I'm here to to help you along your journey to longer lasting personal peace and wellbeing by teaching you to heal yourself and find emotional freedom.

As a counsellor and Reiki master, I offer cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy and complementary healing treatments at my dedicated counselling and healing space in Wandsworth, close to central London and Clapham. I also work with psychic counsellor Seamus Moynagh, who specialises in spiritual healing and guidance.

You Are Your Own Solution

I believe it is my role to help you to learn to become your own counsellor and support you as you find your path through challenging issues.You already possess the ability to master difficulties and make positive long-term changes. Your feelings and thoughts are unique to you, and you can take control of them.

As a counsellor, I'll work in collaboration with you and we'll explore your needs together. I'll help you to recognise negative automatic thinking behind any issues and guide you towards identifying the solutions.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy

You may have heard of cognitive behavioural therapy, or CBT. Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy takes CBT counselling a step further. When you have cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, you will enter a deeply relaxing state in which you can better address issues that are troubling you, such as stress, anxiety, depression and phobias.

I am a counsellor and I have a diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy with hypnotherapy. I also tutor students who are training at The UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

What you can expect from cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy

We'll have a counselling session in a calm, comfortable environment and I'll help you to recognise your automatic negative thoughts and feelings. It's like getting to the roots and digging them out.

Using CBT, together we'll identify and restructure your negative core beliefs and self-talk, which will be strengthened further by hypnotherapy. You'll be fully conscious at all times during hypnotherapy, yet deeply relaxed.

Let's face it, you can't be relaxed if you're under stress. Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy provides you with the opportunity to address deeply-held thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment and make positive changes.

What if I can’t be hypnotised?

Hypnosis is a very personal experience but 98 per cent of us respond to it, so the chances are that it will work for you.

Healing at Personal Peace Therapy

Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy may be all that you need to make positive changes in your life. However, if you’re open to adding to your experience, we can discuss whether trying an additional healing technique like Reiki would be beneficial for you.

I work from a peaceful dedicated counselling and healing space at 122 Merton Road, Wandsworth, London SW18 5SP. It's within easy of central London, especially close to Putney and Earlsfield and just 10 minutes from Clapham Junction on the 159 and 39 bus routes. Southfields and East Putney underground stations on the District Line are also nearby. Alternatively, if you are unable to travel, we can discuss a home visit or contact through Skype.
